Building a Brand: Learn from These Successful Tech Businesses

For aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners today, learning from leading tech firms can help any business become more successful. By learning from those who have managed to defeat all odds, strategies for success can be developed that can be applied to any industry. This article will outline several successful tech companies that entrepreneurs can learn from.

Google
Originally started as a Stanford research project by Sergey Brin and Larry Page, Google has grown to be a massive enterprise today. In almost everything it does, it seeks to innovate and follow its slogan, "Don't be evil". From search engine technology, to online analytics, Google has proven its ability to add value to customers through outstanding innovation. After acquiring YouTube for $1 billion, Google has since turned YouTube into a cornerstone of the internet. Google has also proven its abilities to enter an existing market and be successful with Google Plus, which in just a few years has grown to almost surpass leading social networks.

Apple
Apple is the ultimate success story for entrepreneurs who start from nothing. Launched from the garage of Steve Jobs, the company grew to become one of the leading software and hardware innovators for personal computers in the 1980s. While the company declined in the 1990s, it rebounded with unprecedented success with successful offerings such as the iPod, iPad, and iPhone. Today, Apple is valued at nearly $1 trillion and is one of the most profitable companies in the world. Their secret to success is simply to never stop innovating.

Microsoft
When Apple declined, it was because Microsoft took its place. When Microsoft entered the operating system market in the late 1970s, it had the end in mind the entire time. By the 1990s, Microsoft had successfully made Windows the essential operating system for any individual or business wishing to use a personal computer. To this day, Microsoft has continued to shine by following up on its victories with operating systems that are even further improved.

In the last decade, a wide variety of companies have emerged and made it big in the digital world. Even if your company has less to do with computers than these examples, you can use their advice for innovation, constant creativity and determination to get your name out there. According to the New Jersey Institute of Technology, an MBA in management information systems online can be a useful tool for any new company. Use the skills you already possess and give yourself a boost with advertising and invention.

Top 5 Gadgets and Internet Trends to Know So You Don't Get Left Behind

You hear about emerging technologies all the time, but each year our technologies and gadgets progress faster and faster. Instead of being left behind this time, you'll want to make sure to get ahead of the game and familiarize and prepare yourself for new gadgets before companies release these technologies to the public. Check out the following top five gadgets that will hit headlines in the near future.

1. Google Glass

You've seen it in futuristic movies, and it's almost here: a pair of glasses that does everything that your smart phone does, from giving directions and taking pictures to translating languages and answering questions all by the sound of your voice. Share your point-of-view with your family and friends through pictures and videos and download various apps. This is a truly incredible piece of technology that you'll want to keep your eye on, set to release just before the holiday season.

2. Electric Cars

If you're not living under a rock, then you've probably heard a lot about electric car technology, but since few companies are actually manufacturing fully electric cars, few people have been able to get their hands on them. However, you can expect affordable electric cars to hit the market in the near future with comparable mpg to traditional vehicles.

3. Smart TV

Since the release of the smart phone, it hasn't been such a crazy idea to create a smart TV, and you don't have to wait much longer. With TVs having the ability to wirelessly connect to the Internet, you will receive easy, high-quality experiences with television, social media, and video websites among many other applications all at a higher resolution.

4. Smart Watch

Along with smartphones and smart TVs, you'll also discover that the smart watch is creating a buzz throughout the nation. A smart watch is much more than a user-friendly way to keep the time, but it can also function as a mobile communication device, calculator, camera, and more. Many include features such as weather monitoring, GPS navigation, and countless other modern applications.

They can also support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and with modern wireless Internet services offered by companies like Clear Internet Services, your watch can connect to the 4G network no matter where you are. Visit http://www.clearinternetservices.com/about-clear-wireless-internet.html for more information.

5. 3-D Printing

Maybe you won't actually be using 3-D printing, but this is a technology you'll want to know about. 3-D printing is a technique that interprets computer files and turns designs into 3-D models, and it won't take long until consumers can use the technology in their home, office, or other remote locations. This means that companies can quickly and easily create hard copy models from 2-D blueprints by printing layers of metal or plastic. Pretty cool, huh?

No matter if you're ready to move on from your recent gadgets to these latest technologies, it's important to become aware of these emerging gadgets, because they're going to make an impact.  Whether you like it or not, you'll likely encounter these gadgets, and when you do, you'll be ahead of the game.

Secrets Behind Google Nexus 7 Tablet

The newest tablet on the market, the Google Nexus 7, is making a splash in the market right now. Tablets in total seem to getting more and more popular because of the multiple uses they afford users, and the affordability of them when compared to smart phones and lap top computers. There was a time when consumers seemed to want smaller and smaller mobile devices, but as the technology has advanced, it seems as if the trend is going to other way. Instead, consumers now seem to want an all-in-one encompassing device, in which they can access the internet and mobile apps, while also being able to send e-mails, make phone calls and do everything else that the internet will allow, such as listening to music and watching movies and other streaming videos.

Sales trends for the Google Nexus 7 tablet so far
According to most sales reports, Google is due to make at least a modest profit on the Google Nexus 7 tablet that they released earlier this year. The Google Nexus 7 tablet only costs $199 and is 8 GB, which is a great deal when compared to the iPad, and other tablet devices that are similar to Google’s newest one. Google was a late entry into the tablet market, but sales show they are going to be a possible competitor well into the future, if they keep it up. The main competitor for the Google Nexus 7, and the reason why Google created it in the first place, is the Kindle Fire, which had been selling like hotcakes. Therefore, Google could not refuse to jump on the tablet bandwagon. The Google Nexus 7 tablet has many of the same features as the Kindle Fire, but Google sweetened the pot by adding a camera and the features that the Kindle Fire currently does not have, but it is likely that the Kindle Fire will catch on to Google’s additions and offer them as well in future models of the tablet device.

The features of the Google Nexus 7 tablet
Google created it especially to be used with Google Play, which is Google’s newest revamped mp3 and app marketplace. You can buy ebooks, music and videos using the Google app. The device also comes with all the popular Google apps, such as Gmail, the Google Docs app and a list of many others. The possibilities are endless with the tablet, and it is perfect for anyone who already uses Google apps at home on their personal computers.

Google Nexus 7 tablet tips and tricks
There are a ton of ways to customize that Google Nexus 7 tablet, that have rarely been seen in other tablets of its kind. You can customize the home screen widgets, and the apps, among many other things. It was pretty much made to be used for media reasons.
